ഒടുവില്‍ ആരും അവശേഷിച്ചില്ല എന്ന നോവലിനെ ആസ്പദമാക്കി നിര്‍മിച്ചതാണ് ഈ സിനിമ. ക്രിസ്റ്റിയുടെ സ്ഥിരം അന്വേഷകാരായ പോയ് റൂട്ട്‌, മാര്‍പ്പിള്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ ഇതില്‍ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും വളരെ സസ്പന്‍സ്‌ നിറഞ്ഞ നോവലാണ് ഒടുവില്‍ ആരും അവശേഷിച്ചില്ല.ഭൂതകാലത്ത് നിസ്സരമെങ്കിലും കൊലപാതകം പോലെയുള്ള പരിണത ഫലങ്ങളുണ്ടാക്കിയ തെറ്റുകള്‍ ചെയ്തു നിയമത്തിന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ നിന്നും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ട 10 പേര്‍ക്ക് അവരുടെ വിരമിക്കലിന് ശേഷമുള്ള ഒരു അവധിക്കാലത്ത്‌ സൗജന്യ ആഘോഷത്തിനു പഴയ സ്നേഹിതന്റെ പേരില്‍ കത്ത് കിട്ടുന്നു. 10 പേരും പരസ്പരം പരിചയം ഇല്ലാത്തവര്‍. ക്ഷനിക്കപ്പെട്ടത് ഒരു ആള്‍ താമസമില്ലാത്ത ദ്വീപിലെക്കും.സൗജന്യം മോഹിച്ചു എത്തിയ അവരെ എതിരേല്‍ക്കാന്‍ ആതിഥേയന്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. തിരിച്ചുപോകുവാന്‍ ബോട്ട് ഇല്ലാത്ത അവര്‍ കണ്ടത്‌ ഒരു പഴയ നഴ്സറി ഗാനമായിരുന്നു. "ഒന്നാമന്‍ വിറച്ചു ചത്തു" എന്ന് തുടങ്ങി പത്തു പേര്‍ ചാവുന്നത് വിവരിച്ച പദ്യം. അതില്‍ പറഞ്ഞ അതെ രീതിയില്‍ ഓരോരുത്തരും കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു തുടങ്ങി. രസകരമായ ഈ നോവല്‍ വായിക്കുക
