Four girls who belonged to class 12 were punished by teacher Razia Bano
for not doing their homework during which these girls were not even
allowed to drink water or answer to nature's call. The girls had to be
admitted to a hospital because of this act.

The Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission (MPHRC) has recommended the State Government to pay a compensation of Rs.5000 each to four girls who were made to stand for hours as punishment. This incident took place in Burhanpur district.
